Project — 03

Set along the Thames in Chelsea, this apartment was redesigned as a refined home inspired by the elegance of Parisian Haussmann-style flats. Imagined for a Persian couple with a passion for art and literature, the space blends classic details with everyday comfort.

At the centre of the layout is a series of four double sliding doors connecting the dining room, reception, and study. This enfilade design enables seamless transitions between open entertaining spaces and more private, quiet areas, without compromising the river views.

The interiors combine vintage and contemporary pieces as well as some bespoke joinery in the study.

The master suite was designed as a “flat within the flat,” utilising a consistent palette of linen wall coverings and oak panelling to tie together the bedroom, dressing area, and bathroom, creating a calm, cohesive feel.

Conceived initially as Nathalie’s diploma project at the Inchbald School of Design, it was awarded the Dean's Prize, Jacqueline Duncan, for its creativity and attention to detail.
